Ask any former FC Academic Affairs chair, or academic dean, or director of advising, the vice provost for undergraduate studies, the associate provost for academic affairs, etc., etc., and they will attest to the work Brenda Selman has done to support and improve academic policies – policies that, it should be noted, the Registrar’s Office doesn’t make, because those are in the faculty purview – something Brenda has never, ever forgotten.

The Task Force’s contributions have made a strong impact to shared governance on campus: faculty have learned a lot from the Report, staff have had their observations formally communicated, and both student leaders’ and students’ perspectives on physical campus spaces related to Indigenous living and learning are clearly articulated.
