Harry Tyrer

Harry TyrerProfessor

Education: Ph.D. and M.S. from Duke University in North Carolina and B.S. from the University of Miami

Research and Teaching: Research focuses on biophysics instrumentation, computer architecture and simulation, Internet over satellites, eldercare technology, software engineering, software design and neuroscience. Teaching focuses on logic design, computer networks and performance, operating systems, artificial neural networks, circuits, electronics and optics Harry W. Tyrer is a professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Along with his years at MU, Tyrer's experience includes working at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the Becton-Dickinson Research Center as well as consultancies for McDonnell Douglas MSC and the Cancer Research Center. Tyrer's research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
