Geoffrey Swindells
Government Documents Coordinator
Geoffrey Swindells is the government documents coordinator for the MU Libraries. Prior to coming to MU in 1996, he was a senior research librarian at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He currently serves on the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer of the United States, advising the U.S. Government Printing Office on policy matters related to the Federal Depository Library Program. He is also an adjunct instructor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Geoffrey earned his B.A. in contemporary political and social thought from the University of California, Berkeley and his M.S. in library service from Columbia University. He has also served in the United States Coast Guard and is a graduate of the National Search and Rescue School.
