Committee(s): Academic Affairs
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Art History and Archaeology, where I teach medieval and northern Renaissance art. I have played a variety of roles in my department, and was chair from 2007 through 2012. I have also served on, and in some cases chaired, numerous committees at the college, campus, and national/international level, and will take up the pen as recording Secretary for the International Center of Medieval Art in 2017. My research, for which I currently hold a Bonnie Wheeler Fellowship, centers around and the patronage and design of late medieval illuminated manuscripts, and the material goods of Isabella of France, who was a 14th-century queen of England.
