Xiaoguang (Shawn) Ni is a professor of economics and an adjunct professor of statistics. He has been a faculty member of MU since 1990. He conducts research on a wide range of problems in macroeconomics, econometrics, and public finance. He has taught introductory, intermediate, and advanced economics courses and has been a devoted adviser for graduate students. Shawn has served on various committees in the economics department and the college of arts and science.
