Jonathan Krieckhaus
 Associate Professor
Jonathan Krieckhaus is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science. His specialty is the politics of developing countries, with a particular emphasis on the effect of colonialism and democracy on economic prosperity. He is currently writing a book on the ways in which bond investors react to democratic elections and partisanship in Latin America and Asia. He has been a member of the MU faculty since 2000, and is deeply involved in training graduate students.
