Dr. Khatri earned his PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the State University of New York, Buffalo and MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is currently a faculty of Strategic Human Resource Management and Transformational Leadership in the Department of Health Management and Informatics, School of Medicine, University of Missouri, Columbia. Before joining the University of Missouri, he was a faculty in the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for about 7 years. Dr. Khatri’s research and teaching interests focus on unleashing the human potential in organizations. He has authored or edited three scholarly books, and published over 60 research articles and book chapters on human resource management, leadership, strategic decision making, and cross-cultural behavioral issues in premier peer-reviewed journals. He received the Emerald Literati Network’s Award for Excellence for his research article in 2013 and three of his papers received nominations for the Best Paper Award at the Academy of Management Annual Meetings. He also received the ‘Teacher of the Year Award’ in the Department of Health Management and Informatics, School of Medicine, University of Missouri.
