Faculty Handbook: Introduction
Welcome to the MU Faculty Council Web site!
This Web-site posting of the University of Missouri-Columbia Faculty Handbook presents the most current (October 2005) compilation of the formal University rules, policies, and procedures concerning MU Faculty.
As policies that affect MU faculty evolve over the life of the institution, the electronic version of the handbook will be revised. If you have any questions or suggestions, particularly if you spot a mistake or would like to suggest a revision or request an explanation, please do not hesitate to let us know. You can send your comments, either electronically or by University mail, to the Chair of Faculty Council at the Office of the MU Faculty Council, Conley House, or you can directly contact your Faculty Council representative.
As you explore the Handbook and the Web site, you will notice a number of links to external sites of general interest to faculty. Don't overlook the minutes and archives where you will find references to a variety of concerns of interest to MU faculty.
Thank you for your interest in faculty governance at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
